1.  We live for the nearly-unbearable thrill that only true, heartfelt experiences can bring.
2. We are the active creators of our own entertainment, not passive consumers of simple diversions.
3. For us, adventure is not a question of the height of the mountain, the speed of the marathon, or the weight of the pack, but of how new and deeply felt an experience is.
4. We believe that the local adventure is equally legitimate as the adventure that takes place on some far-flung continent.
5. We believe in the intrinsic value of high jinks, tomfoolery, horseplay, scalawagery, and peaceable mayhem.
